Cell-based assay
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001782
A laboratory technique that uses living cells to measure the biological activity or effect of a substance, such as a drug or chemical. These assays provide a more physiologically relevant context than biochemical assays, reflecting complex cellular responses. They are widely employed in drug discovery, toxicology, and basic research.
