Chemotaxis assay
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001994
A laboratory method used to quantify the directed movement of cells in response to a chemical gradient. These assays typically involve a barrier separating cells from a chemoattractant, allowing measurement of cell migration towards the stimulus. Common techniques include the Boyden chamber assay and microfluidic devices.
