Equilibrium assay
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-004055
A type of biochemical assay designed to measure the concentrations of reactants and products after a system has reached a state of chemical equilibrium. This method provides information about the affinity or binding strength between molecules, such as a ligand and its receptor. It contrasts with kinetic assays, which measure reaction rates over time.
