Image-based assay
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005595
A type of biological assay that relies on the acquisition and analysis of microscopic images to quantify cellular or subcellular events. These assays often involve fluorescent probes and automated microscopy to detect changes in cell morphology, protein localization, or other cellular processes. High-content screening assays are a prominent example of image-based assays.
