Polysulfone
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009243
A class of high-performance thermoplastic polymers characterized by repeating sulfone (-SO2-) linkages and aromatic rings in their main chain. These polymers exhibit excellent thermal stability, mechanical strength, and resistance to hydrolysis and oxidation. They are widely used in membranes for water purification, medical devices, and automotive components.
