Polythioether
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009246
A class of polymers characterized by repeating thioether (-S-) linkages within their main chain. These polymers are often synthesized from dithiols and dihalides. They are known for their chemical resistance, high refractive index, and good mechanical properties, finding applications in optical materials and high-performance coatings.
