Polybenzothiazole
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009111
A class of polymers containing benzothiazole rings as an integral part of the main polymer chain. These materials are known for their high thermal stability, excellent mechanical strength, and resistance to chemical degradation. Polybenzothiazoles are rigid-rod polymers that can form liquid crystalline solutions, which are processed into high-performance fibers.
