Polyoxyarylene
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009217
A class of polymers whose main chain contains repeating oxyarylene units, where an oxygen atom links two aryl groups. These polymers often exhibit high thermal stability and mechanical strength due to the rigid aromatic rings. Poly(phenylene oxide) is a prominent example, used in engineering plastics.
