Polyoxyalkylene
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009216
A type of polymer characterized by a main chain composed of repeating oxyalkylene units, typically derived from the ring-opening polymerization of cyclic ethers. The most common examples are poly(ethylene oxide) and poly(propylene oxide). These polymers are widely used as surfactants, dispersants, and in polyurethane synthesis.
