Polyoxymethylene

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009218

A thermoplastic polymer characterized by repeating -CH2O- units in its main chain, derived from the polymerization of formaldehyde. This highly crystalline polymer exhibits excellent stiffness, strength, and dimensional stability, along with good resistance to moisture and organic solvents. It is widely used in engineering applications for precision parts, gears, and automotive components.
