Polyoxyphenylene
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009219
A polymer characterized by a main chain composed of repeating oxyphenylene units, where an oxygen atom is directly bonded to two phenyl groups. These polymers are known for their high thermal stability and good mechanical properties. Poly(2,6-dimethyl-1,4-phenylene oxide) is a common example, used in blends with other polymers.
