Polyketone
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009155
A polymer characterized by the presence of ketone groups (carbonyl groups bonded to two carbon atoms) as integral parts of its main chain. These polymers are synthesized through the copolymerization of carbon monoxide with olefins. They exhibit good mechanical properties and chemical resistance, with some grades being semicrystalline.
