Polyquinoline
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009232
A polymer characterized by repeating quinoline units within its main chain. These polymers are synthesized through condensation reactions, often involving aromatic diamines and diketones, followed by cyclization. Polyquinolines exhibit high thermal stability, good mechanical properties, and resistance to chemical degradation, making them suitable for high-performance engineering plastics and composite materials in aerospace applications.
