Polycarbodiimide
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013410
A polymer characterized by the presence of carbodiimide (-N=C=N-) groups in its main chain. These polymers are typically synthesized through the condensation of isocyanates. Polycarbodiimides are known for their high thermal stability and are used in applications such as high-performance coatings, adhesives, and as scavengers for acidic compounds.
