Polycarbamate

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-013409

A polymer containing carbamate (-NH-CO-O-) linkages in its main chain. These polymers are commonly known as polyurethanes and are formed by the reaction of diisocyanates with polyols. Polycarbamates are versatile materials used in foams, coatings, adhesives, and elastomers due to their wide range of mechanical properties.
