Polyalkenylene
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009096
A class of polymers characterized by a backbone composed of repeating alkylene units that contain at least one carbon-carbon double bond. These polymers are typically formed by the ring-opening metathesis polymerization of cyclic alkenes or by the polymerization of dienes. Polybutadienes are a well-known example of polyalkenylenes.
