Polyaddition
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009095
A type of polymerization reaction where monomers add to each other without the elimination of any small molecules, forming a polymer whose repeating unit has the same elemental composition as the monomer. This process typically involves the rearrangement of hydrogen atoms. Polyurethanes and epoxy resins are common examples of polymers formed by polyaddition.
