poly(ethene-1,2-diyl)
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009137
A polymer derived from the polymerization of acetylene, with a repeating unit of -CH=CH-. This structure results in a conjugated polymer backbone, which can exhibit electrical conductivity when doped. It is also known as polyacetylene, and its properties depend heavily on the stereochemistry of the double bonds.
