Poly I:C
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-009090
Polyinosinic:polycytidylic acid, a synthetic double-stranded RNA molecule that mimics viral RNA and acts as a potent immunostimulant. It is recognized by Toll-like receptor 3 (TLR3), triggering an innate immune response, including the production of interferons and other cytokines. Poly I:C is often used in research to induce antiviral states or as an adjuvant in vaccines.
