Prepuce

A retractable fold of skin and mucous membrane that covers and protects the glans of the penis in males or the clitoris in females. In males, it is also known as the foreskin. In developmental toxicology studies, the separation of the prepuce from the glans penis is a key marker for assessing the onset of male puberty in rodents.
