Reasonable worst case

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010001

A scenario used in risk assessment that represents a plausible, yet conservative, combination of conditions leading to the highest expected exposure or effect. This approach aims to provide a protective estimate of risk without resorting to highly improbable or impossible circumstances. It is often employed to define safety margins for chemical substances in environmental or human health contexts.
