Regular surface
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010119
A surface characterized by a uniform arrangement of atoms or molecules, exhibiting a high degree of order and periodicity. These surfaces often have well-defined crystallographic planes and a consistent distribution of surface sites. Such surfaces are frequently studied in surface science to understand fundamental adsorption and reaction mechanisms.
