Regular polymer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010117
A polymer whose molecules consist of a single type of constitutional repeating unit arranged in a single, regular sequence. This implies a uniform and ordered arrangement of monomer units along the entire polymer chain. For example, isotactic polypropylene, where all methyl groups are on the same side of the polymer backbone, is a regular polymer.
