Regular single-strand polymer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010118
A polymer whose macromolecules are composed of a single type of constitutional repeating unit, connected in a single, uniform sequence along a single chain. This structure implies a consistent and ordered arrangement of monomer units without branching or cross-linking. Poly(ethylene) is an example of a regular single-strand polymer, consisting of repeating -CH2-CH2- units.
