Linear polymer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006629
A polymer whose macromolecules consist of a single, continuous chain of repeating monomer units, without any branching points or cross-links. The connectivity of the monomer units forms an unbranched backbone. This structural characteristic influences the polymer's ability to pack closely, affecting its density and crystallinity.
