Linear constitutional repeating unit
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006614
A constitutional repeating unit that forms part of a linear chain or linear segment within a macromolecule. This unit is connected to two other constitutional units, one on each side, contributing to the backbone of the polymer. In a hyperbranched macromolecule, these units are designated with the symbol L to distinguish them from dendritic (D) and terminal (T) units.
