Branch constitutional repeating unit
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-001473
A constitutional repeating unit that is connected to at least three other constitutional repeating units, so it sits at a branching point of the macromolecule. It may also carry end groups. The units in the arms leading away from it are ordinary linear units, so dendrimers and hyperbranched polymers contain many branch units among them.
