Semi-dendritic constitutional repeating unit
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-010728
A constitutional repeating unit within a polymer structure that possesses a branching point from which at least two dendrons or dendritic fragments emanate, but where the overall structure does not necessarily form a perfectly regular dendrimer. This unit contributes to the branched architecture of hyperbranched polymers. It combines features of linear and dendritic structures.
