Dendritic macromolecule

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002993

A highly branched polymer characterized by a regular, tree-like structure emanating from a central core or a single focal point. These macromolecules exhibit a high degree of structural perfection and a large number of peripheral functional groups. Dendritic macromolecules include dendrimers and dendrons, which differ in their overall architecture and synthetic approach.
