Dendritic polymer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002994
A polymer characterized by a highly branched, tree-like molecular architecture, often emanating from a central core or along a backbone. This category encompasses dendrimers, which are perfectly branched and monodisperse, and hyperbranched polymers, which have irregular branching. These polymers exhibit high solubility and numerous peripheral functional groups.
