Hyperbranched polymer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005507
A polymer possessing a highly branched, irregular, tree-like structure with numerous terminal groups, but lacking the precise generational symmetry of a dendrimer. These polymers are typically synthesized in a one-pot reaction, resulting in a broad molecular weight distribution. Their unique architecture leads to properties such as low solution viscosity and high solubility.
