Hyperbranched oligomer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-005505
A macromolecule with a highly branched, irregular structure, typically formed by a single monomer type or a mixture of monomers. It possesses a large number of terminal groups and a relatively low molecular weight compared to hyperbranched polymers. These structures lack the precise architectural control found in dendrimers.
