Linear chromatography
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-006613
A chromatographic process where the distribution isotherm for the analyte between the stationary and mobile phases is linear. This implies that the retention time or volume of a compound is independent of its concentration, leading to symmetrical peak shapes. It is the ideal behavior often sought in analytical separations.
