Double-strand chain
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003417
A polymer chain composed of two linear sequences of constitutional units that are interconnected at regular intervals along their length. This structure forms a ladder-like arrangement, where the two strands are covalently linked. Such chains exhibit enhanced rigidity and thermal stability compared to single-strand polymers.
