Double-strand copolymer
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-003418
A copolymer whose macromolecule consists of two linear sequences of constitutional units, each of which is a copolymer, interconnected at regular intervals. This results in a ladder-like structure where both 'rungs' and 'sides' of the ladder are composed of different types of monomer units. These materials often possess unique mechanical and thermal properties due to their rigid, interconnected architecture.
