Star macromolecule
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-011317
A macromolecule characterized by multiple linear polymer chains, known as arms, covalently linked to a central core or branch point. The arms can be identical or different in chemical composition and degree of polymerization. This architecture results in a compact, spherical shape in solution, influencing its rheological and solution properties.
