Comb macromolecule

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-002262

A macromolecule consisting of a main chain with multiple side chains attached at regular or irregular intervals, resembling the teeth of a comb. The side chains are typically polymeric themselves, leading to a highly branched structure. The properties of these macromolecules are influenced by both the main chain and the side chains.
