Travelling examination standard
Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012275
A stable, transportable material used to assess the performance of an examination procedure across different locations or over time. It is analyzed in multiple laboratories or on multiple instruments to check for consistency and comparability of results, functioning as a common reference point. Unlike a calibrator, its primary purpose is not to establish a calibration curve but to verify the trueness and precision of an established measurement system.
