Travel time

Term · Chemistry · MLC-T-CHM-012274

The time interval required for an aerosolized sample to move from the point of nebulization to the observation zone within a flame in atomic spectrometry. This parameter influences the efficiency of sample transport and the desolvation, vaporization, and atomization processes occurring before detection. Travel time is a component of the total response time of the instrument and is measured in seconds.
