Chiplet
Term · Computing and IT · MLC-T-CMP-000182
A modular integrated circuit die that performs a specific, well-defined function. Multiple chiplets are assembled together within a single package, often on a shared substrate, to form a larger and more complex system-on-a-chip. This design approach contrasts with monolithic construction, where all processor components are fabricated on a single piece of silicon.
