Crop
Term · Computing and IT · MLC-T-CMP-000247
To remove the outer parts of an image or video frame to change its aspect ratio or to improve its framing. Cropping involves selecting a rectangular area of the original image and discarding everything outside of this selection. This action reduces the dimensions of the image in pixels and permanently removes the trimmed data, unlike masking which only hides parts of the image.
