eGPU

An external graphics processing unit housed in its own enclosure with a power supply, which connects to a computer to enhance its graphics performance. An eGPU allows laptops or other less powerful computers to handle demanding graphical tasks like gaming, video editing, and 3D rendering. Connection to the host computer is made through a high-bandwidth interface, most commonly Thunderbolt 3 or 4.
