EXIF

Exchangeable Image File Format, a standard for storing metadata within image files, particularly those produced by digital cameras. This metadata includes information such as camera model, date and time of capture, exposure settings, and GPS coordinates. EXIF data is embedded directly into JPEG and TIFF image files.
