Fiber-optic cable

A network cable that contains one or more strands of glass or plastic fibers, used to transmit data as pulses of light. It offers significantly higher bandwidth and longer transmission distances compared to copper cables, with less susceptibility to electromagnetic interference. Fiber optic cables are widely used for high-speed internet, telecommunications, and data centers.
