A digital subscriber line (DSL) technology that provides faster data transmission over a single twisted pair of copper wires than traditional ADSL. It achieves higher speeds by operating over shorter distances from the telephone exchange or fiber optic node. VDSL is commonly used for high-bandwidth applications like HDTV and internet access.
