Micron

A unit of length equal to one millionth of a meter, also known as a micrometer. In computing, this unit is frequently used to specify the feature size of transistors and other components on integrated circuits. Smaller micron ratings generally indicate more advanced manufacturing processes and higher transistor densities on a chip.
