An emerging display technology that uses arrays of microscopic light-emitting diodes to form individual pixel elements. Each sub-pixel is an individually addressable LED, offering superior brightness, contrast, and energy efficiency compared to traditional LCD and OLED displays. MicroLED displays are being developed for applications ranging from smartwatches to large-format televisions.
