Term · Computing and IT · MLC-T-CMP-001225

A type of liquid-crystal display (LCD) that uses thin-film transistor technology to improve image quality and addressability. Each pixel on the screen is controlled by one to four transistors, allowing for faster response times and better color reproduction compared to passive-matrix LCDs. TFT displays are widely used in monitors, televisions, and mobile devices.
