Piconet

A small, ad-hoc network formed by Bluetooth-enabled devices, where one device acts as the master and up to seven other devices operate as slaves. The master device controls the communication and synchronization within the network, while slaves communicate only with the master. A piconet has a maximum capacity of eight active devices, though more can be connected in a parked state.
