Spool

To temporarily store data in a buffer or queue before it is processed by a peripheral device, such as a printer. This process, known as Simultaneous Peripheral Operations Online, allows the CPU to perform other tasks while the peripheral device handles its operation at its own pace. Print spooling is a common example, where print jobs are queued until the printer is ready.
